You're always worth it, and you deserve it...

Hey everyone!  I'm back!

It's been a few weeks since I last updated this blog.  Well, this post is my shopping haul from February when I visited my Aunt in Harlingen with my parents.

Before I lead to the video, I just want everyone to know that i'm not bragging about the stuff that I bought.  I work full time and I believe that I work hard and I should be able to enjoy my money.  I am a firm believer that anyone that works hard and earns their own money should be able to enjoy it (within reason, of course).

Without further ado...here is my shopping haul video!  Hope you enjoy!

If you like it then you should've put a ring on it....

Okay, i'm running out of lyrics for my blog....

Maybe I should start using book quotes for the days I post up book reviews.

As you have guessed, this is another book review post. I'm currently in the process of filming two other vlog posts: a shopping haul and by Ipsy and Birchbox openings (which I have been neglecting).

*I am not paid by any bookstore, publishing company, or these authors to provide these reviews. My thoughts and opinions about these books are my own.*

Enjoy these reviews on these series!

All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkness

Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead

Vampire Huntress Series by Jeaniene Frost

Fever Series by Karen Marie Moning

I'll make love to you...like you want me to...

Well...it's been forever and a DAY since I have posted something on my blog.

A lot has happened since then, but one of the big things that happened is that...I GOT A BIG GIRL JOB!!! WOOHOO!

So, that is pretty much taking up all my time at the moment. However, I hope to be able to video and load up videos on the weekend and then show them throughout the week.

Here are a set of book reviews that I filmed back in September, I believe, that I have been meaning to post...but I guess later rather than never works, right? Just to let you know I am not being paid to review this by anyone. I bought these books with my own money, they weren't given to me for free.

Here they are:

The Crossfire Series by Sylvia Day

The Breathless Trilogy by Maya Banks

Gabriel Inferno Trilogy by Sylvain Reynard

Hope you enjoyed the videos!

Ice, Ice Baby...

Okay, I don’t usually do this.  But I’m going to go on a slight rant.

Small disclaimer: I’m all for people donating to a good cause, don’t get me wrong.

On that note, clarification on the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.  I hope many people know that the “Ice Bucket Challenge” has been going on longer than you think, and not just the ALS one.  Trust me, I saw numerous people doing it on facebook, and it wasn’t for ALS.  Here is what was supposed to happen…the challenged individual has two options: (1) Do the Ice Bucket Challenge AND donate $10 to the charity of their choice or (2) not do the Ice Bucket Challenge and Donate $100 to the challenger’s charity of choice.  If you haven’t noticed, whichever you choose, you DONATE money regardless.  It’s just one choice has more monetary value.

Now, the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is VERY similar.  Same scenario,  just that the proceeds go to ALS research.  Regardless if you decide to pour ice water over your body, you will STILL donate money: (1) Ice water + $10 OR No Ice Water + $100.

Now, you are not limited to that amount of money…you can definitely donate more if you would like.

However, I would like to challenge you…all of you (at least the ones that read this blog).  How about you WILLINGLY donate money (or even your time) to a worthy charity or cause.  No holds bar…I won’t even ask you to pour ice water over your head.  Just DO IT.  DONATE.

I’m not trying to bash the people who have done this challenge, because you have donated to a worthy cause.  You have helped raise A LOT of money for research that is going to help a lot of people.

However, there are also a lot of other worthy charities that need your help, as well.

So, go out there and help more people!
