Oops...I did it again!

I've been postponing creating one of these things since the start of the year...but I finally broke down and created one (eh...it was more like a craving...yes...you read that right...a craving).  This is pretty much the eleventh million time I've created a blog (pretty similar to the fashion of having a million half filled diaries).  Hopefully, this blog will be a little bit more successful than my previous blogs.  Why did I decide to create a blog?  


Well...I blame this on peer pressure...sort of...


I've seen quite a bit of my friends creating blogs...so...I decided to re-establish a blog for myself.


At first, I wanted to make one of these at the start of the year.  You know...those yearly blog posts in which you reflect on the previous year and state your resolutions and blah blah blah.  However, I never got around to making one.  Why?  I don't know...and that's an honest answer.


Since the year is just starting...let me share with you my (very) short resolution list:


1.  Read 1 book a week
Yes, you read that right...1 book a week.  I love reading.  It takes my mind away from HERE...wherever here is.  I have this whole list of books on my nook wishlist that I intend to buy (I'm going to be broke...) and I also have a whole bunch of books on my shelf that I haven't read/half-read.  Besides, reading is good for your mentality.  At least, I think so.


2.  Get into Grad school
My intention prior to entering UT @ Austin was to head into grad school right after I graduated.  Come 2011...I was just mentally exhausted.  A lot of things happened during my 4 years at UT...mostly fantastic...some not so fantastic...and that eventually just weighed me down my last year that I just couldn't fathom going into grad school.  So...the plan changed in which I decided to work for a year and then head to grad school.  That would've worked if my job wasn't a total...err...bust.  Long story short...it wasn't what I thought it would be/what they told me it would be.  So...grad school for Fall '12 it is (*cross fingers*)


3.  Lose weight
Ehh...cliche and self-explanatory.  Rocky start at first...but i'm now back on track...


4.  Read All 7 Harry Potter Books

5.  Lord of the Rings marathon
Again...Nerd Alert


So...yea, I guess that's it for my resolutions.  And for this blog posts.


I already have the next couple of posts already formulating in my head...particularly tomorrow's post.  It should be fun...right after I study for the GRE.
